The Company is the UK's market leader in the provision of outsourced waste management and recycling solutions. With a current turnover of £123m and the target of achieving £200m in 2020 this is an exciting time to join the team and this role will play a vital part in achieving our goals. The importance for their customers to be able to continually improve their environmental performance through reducing & recycling waste is growing all the time and due to the Company's ongoing success & growth they are now looking for a 'New Business' Development Manager to join their sales team.

They are keen to talk to candidates who have a sound knowledge of 'solution' selling services and have a real drive and determination to succeed. Targeting & working with many blue-chip organisations, you will be negotiating frameworks to provide our total waste management solution - identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities.

Role Overview:

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development you will be required to embrace and use their new CRM system - enabling the effective management of sales pipelines.
  • Targeting an identified customer base to develop into significant revenue generation
  • Continually remain abreast of developments within the sectors and businesses
  • National, home based role - we are flexible on location across England
  • Travel and overnight stays as and when required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven experience of new business development, focused on winning new major contracts
  • Demonstrate track record of working with and consistently over achieving challenging sales targets
  • Have the ability to prepare and write proposals & supporting documents for tenders and RFP's
  • Be self-motivated with a results driven attitude
  • Understand a sales process that is 'solution' led
  • Have experience of selling into manufacturing, retail and facilities sectors
