A fast growing logistics company are looking for a BDM in the London area. The role will involve selling their proposition by creating and managing relationships with retailers.

This role would suit a highly motivated sales professional with a strong track record of selling into the retail space.

Client Details

Our client is a fast growing organisation operating within the logistics sector. They partner with retailers and e-tailers to offer a hassle free solution to the end user.

Description

  • The main responsibility will be to create and manage partnerships with multi-channel retailers.
  • Build relationships with prospects by gaining an insight into their businesses to enable you to provide delivery solutions

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of all features, integration plans and product portfolio

  • Conduct a high volume of booked product demos or discovery meetings with fully qualified prospects

  • Track all your activity in our Dynamics CRM (Salesforce)

  • Consistently meet or exceed all targets set

Profile

  • Circa 3 - 5 years' sales experience and be a dynamic, value based 'solutions' sales professional.

  • The skills to create, build and maintain strong retailer relationships.

  • The ability to identify and create opportunities.

  • Expertise to develop sales targets and strategies and ensure that these targets are met.

  • The ability to engage confidently with senior influencers.

  • Exceptionally good presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills.

  • The ability to work quickly and flexibly.

  • Common sense, commerciality, hunger and enthusiasm.

  • The experience to excel under pressure, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • The flexibility to travel nationally and internationally.
