Business Development Manager - Devices & consumables in community

THE COMPANY: A very well-established international manufacturer who have been providing hospital and community environments with quality devices, equipment and consumables for over half a century. This division provide a wide portfolio of products (including infusion, vascular access, safety needles, tracheostomy tubes) for use within non-hospital environments and an impending retirement means that they are currently seeking to recruit a driven, strategic and commercially-aware sales professional to manage and grow their business within Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will be working with their non-hospital customer base - typically GP practices, small distributors, OEMs and clinical research organisations. Typical contact level will be prescribing nurses, GPSI's, reimbursement advisors and finance / procurement. Candidates must have a proven track record selling into primary care / community settings and preference will go to those who have a working knowledge of funding / reimbursement channels and processes within the community. Full company and product portfolio training will be provided and career and earning prospects are superb.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Basic: £38,000 to £54,000
  • Bonus: 20%
  • Car: Fully expensed Audi A4 / BMW 3 Series
  • Benefits: Healthcare, pension, mobile, laptop, lunch, 25 days holiday + stats
