Relationship Development Manager, Business Development Manager

Build Relationships that Matter!

Our client is a charity that provides support for the chartered accountant community and information and resources to enable individual members and their families to promote their own wellbeing.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Relationship Development Manager to join their team based in Rugby. The role will help build relationships within the business community to further the awareness and understanding of their services within the chartered accountant community.

They are looking to further develop and improve relationships and their engagement in four key areas-

  • Accountancy practices
  • Business and industry
  • Training providers
  • Recruitment Consultancy

In many ways this is a traditional business development role. You will be required to identify the key people within specific organisations and contact them to develop effective working relationships.

Where the role differs from a traditional business development role is that you won't be selling anything!

Their services are provided free to members. Their challenge is to identify the main stakeholders within organisations and enthuse them in such a way that they actively want to help promote our services.

It is these people who will help inform and educate their colleagues to increase awareness of CABA and ultimately increase the use of our services.

If you love developing great working relationships, then this could be the role for you.

To apply you must be able to demonstrate that you possess passion, integrity, trust and be an effective team player.

As part of their management team you will interact with all areas of their operation. You will need to be able to show that you can work as both part of a team as well as on your own.

You will have considerable autonomy in the role and the opportunity to increase awareness of CABA is huge. As such it is important that you can effectively plan and prioritise your own work and that of others.

Being results oriented, you will need to demonstrate that you have a successful track record of delivering against targets.
