The Company: This organisation is one of the largest waste management operators in the North of England, a fast-growing privately-owned business of excellent reputation. Established for over 50 years and with an annual turnover in excess of £30m, this business continues to reinvest profits into developing its operation and services - including recruiting for a Business Development Manager to cover growth territories in the Birmingham area.

The Role: Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing high value and long lead cycle-based business within any Commercial or Industrial prospect - SME's, corporate blue chip, facilities management, public sector and international markets are all potential targets. If you are looking to be exposed to high level selling with a genuine opportunity for future, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Person: The ideal candidate will have a background and proven track record in the acquisition of new business. You must be driven, resilient and have the discipline and ability to work hard. A dynamic and a true people person can really achieve here.

Location: West Midlands, this role will be covering the Birmingham territory

The Business Development Manager package:

  • £25,000 - £30,000 Basic Salary
  • £12,000 Bonus year 1 (uncapped)
