THE ROLE: Following a thorough 12 week induction and training period at the Head Office in Cheshire, the Business Development Manager will initially be responsible for securing new business sales opportunities within the food and beverage production market. Through self-generated leads and a telemarketing team, you will spend 70% of the time prospecting and 30% managing existing client relationships. Expectation is that there will be time spent home based, and also in the office, when not on client meetings nationally.
THE PERSON: To be considered for this position you will have an attitude in line with a new business hunter. Your desire to achieve results and relationship building ability is far more important than the sectors you have sold into. You need to have the ability to travel across the UK.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a medium sized operator, who have experienced significant sales growth in the last 2 years, with further excellent forecasts. They manufacture adhesives used in labelling and end of line packaging - providing clients with solutions to improve appearance, increase productivity, reduce overheads and increase profitability.
