This company are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join their expanding IT MSP team. Working from a modern, open plan office; expect an exciting and varied role managing new business development.

As the Business Development Manager, you will coordinate and contribute to a full range of business development activity. This includes managing the full sales cycle process, and developing new business sales strategies. You will research, call and build relationships with potential clients, as well as proposal creation and presentation.

You will ideally have an IT MSP background and be an enthusiastic B2B-focused BDM who has experience in a relevant service-based B2B environment, with appropriate knowledge of modern sales techniques and tactics.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with good knowledge of MS Office, and ideally experience working with CRM systems. You will be highly organised and be able to develop relationships with new business leads via a number of different channels. You will be process driven whilst retaining a creative outlook towards generating new business development ideas.

The main requirements of role are:
- Manage and further develop the full consultative sales cycle from start to finish.
- Create and manage new business sales strategies in conjunction with the sales team/directors.

- Nurture and build relationships with potential new clients via cold calling, targeted networking, LinkedIn and other means.
- Build and manage an effective sales pipeline for yourself and Directors, as appropriate.
- Arranging appointments between leads and company representatives or yourself.
- Fully develop and present proposals to potential new clients.
