The Role: Our client is recruiting for a senior new business salesperson to take their new SaaS offering to market. This is a hugely innovative tool that helps organisations to track, monitor and improve operational practice in their supply chain. It is something that will be best suited to large and enterprise level customers so the successful applicant must be comfortable when selling to that type of company. The product is also something that would add value to multiple sides of a corporate company including PR, Operations, Supply Chain, and IR. Our client would be interested in talking to anyone who has demonstrated this kind of multi-stakeholder sell when pitching a SaaS/Software offering.

The Company: This organisation is one of the leading standard bearers in environmental and business ethics in the UK. For almost 20 years they have built relationships with everyone from Farmers to global CEO's of the world's most complex organisations. Advising those clients on environmental and ethical best practice has enabled them to build trust and credibility. They are now entering an exciting stage of their growth and development as they integrate a SaaS tool to their product offering for the first time. This platform will enable their largest clients to access information and intelligence about these key business issues. The organisation has ambitious growth plans and will seek to take revenue from its current level to over 300% of that figure over the next 5 years.

As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • License sales to new and existing customers
  • Introducing a new concept and product offering to stakeholders
  • Targeting some of the world's largest FMCG and retail brands

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 5+ Years of new business sales experience
  • Exposure to a license-based SaaS, BI or software sales model
  • Has experience of running product demos
