Business Development Manager

Location – Rutland, Market Harborough, Kettering, Corby NN17 4AX

Salary – £40,000 basic OTE £70 – 80,000

Due to their continued growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. They want someone who has lots of energy, an interest in the SME market and has a background in consultative sales. Interested?

Working alongside the two directors you will be responsible for the generation of new business through engagement and communication with business owners in the SME sector.

The responsibilities include:

Identifying and recruiting clients to become part of their programme
Developing the Business Development strategy across the geography to achieve the performance objectives
Building relationships with clients from initial conversations through to a diagnostic meeting and contract signing.

As the Business Development Manager, they are looking for the following skills and experience.

- Experience of selling a service-based offering.
- Experience of working with SMEs, either working for or selling into this market place.
- You will be used to building great relationships and be successful selling to business owners,
- You will be well organised and have the ability to identify new opportunities.
- You will be a self-starter and plan accordingly to ensure your success.
- CRM experience to manage leads and customer feedback is essential.
- Proficiency with Word and Excel.

You may have experience in the following, Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, BDM, Sales Representative, Senior Sales Representative, Sales Specialist, Relationship manager etc.,
