The role is focused on delivering a consultative selling strategy in the context of commercial services organisations. This involves selling a range of commercial payment solutions to SME and other relevant organisations.

Description

Your duties will include:

  • Increase new business within your territory, focus on hunting new potential customers.
  • Defining and executing against a business plan centred on delivering results.
  • Liaising with key internal stakeholders such as Pricing, Finance, Contracts, Marketing, as well as Sales and Account Development Managers as required, both locally and globally.
  • The responsibilities include targeted metrics based on external prospecting activities, signings, and billings.
  • Report to your team leader with new opportunities, business trends, and an overview of sales potential in your territory.

Profile

  • Track record of selling into senior and c-suite audiences in large organisations
  • Drive and ambition to succeed, with successful track record in career to date
  • Self-starter with ability to identify, analyse and pursue opportunities when they appear
  • Ability to develop consultative sales strategies and articulate the value of a customised proposition to meet customer needs
  • Ability to use insight and deep understanding of prospects to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to quickly develop a detailed understanding of the Commercial Services value proposition and how this can address the customer needs
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to maintain rigour at every step of the process
  • Influencing and communications skills
  • Strong relationship/networking skills

It is essential you have a proven track record of delivering growth through winning new business from scratch, with a strong sales personality and emphasis on winning business.

You must be highly commercial with strong financial acumen, customer centric, adaptable and be able to work efficiently to maximise output.

Job Offer

Up to £28,000 + excellent bonus structure (accelerator bonuses for overachievers)
