Our client is a Private Equity backed exciting home energy tech startup, connecting homeowners who need new energy solutions with the best gas installers. With backing from some of the biggest well known Private Equity firms, the company is investing heavily in their sales force to get their product into the market.

Description

The Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager are:

  • Identify gas engineers in territory (Sheffield)
  • contact and secure in-person appointments on a daily basis
  • Pitch the joint-value of a partnership with the client
  • nurture the ongoing relationship with the engineers, ensuring longevity of the partnership
  • collaboration with the wider sales team, sharing of learning
  • Hit and surpass targets.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager role:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Proven track record of building relationships
  • Proven track record of Sales Success
  • Exposure to and evidence of having learned sales 'best-practice'
  • ability to learn and adapt quickly, learning the nuances of a new industry
  • Specific heating/gas/energy experience not required - but would be desirable
  • High-energy, driven individual
  • Based in/ commutable to Sheffield

£25-32k basic salary, + commission and bonus (OTE £65-70k) + Car allowance (£6k) + 45p/mile.
