An exciting HR tech services start up business with offices based in Guildford, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its rapidly growing business.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role will prospect to a qualified, warm database of potential customers, looking to develop the businesses footprint in SME and Mid-market size businesses.
The role will be a busy and varied Business Development role. Your days will be spent on the phone, using social media, booking and attending meetings, organising network events, attending exhibitions and shows, including anything possible to get the presence of the product out there. The product is innovative, with tangible USP’s which will enable it to disrupt a well-established market place and the target audience will be intrigue and generally keen to hear about the product (given the right style of approach).
Getting in to the business early, this is an exciting opportunity for a hungry and ambitious sales professional to make their mark. The business has ambitious plans and very impressive backing – career development opportunity is plentiful.
To apply to this role, you should be a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys new business sales aswell as developing long term relationships. You should have experience that demonstrates your ability to meet and exceed targets and you should have experience and/or an interest in selling services to HR professionals. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent you should have a consultative style and experience selling solutions.
