Our client are based in North West London are looking for a Business Development Manager to go out on patch to develop relationships with GP's, care professionals and Hospitals to boost engagement and therefore future referrals.

They have develop and globally recognised reputation for excellence which leads to a huge amount of positive press and high praise from industry leaders.


Key responsibilities and day-to-day duties for the Business Development Manager will be:

  • Regularly setting appointments to meet with GP's, care professionals and other Hospitals to establish private relationships to offer and explore the best patient journey

  • Out of the office 3-4 days a week in the local area

  • Driving referrals from relevant sources in line with hospital activity and business plans

  • Reporting on market intelligence

  • Acting as the interface between GP's and the Hospital by facilitating appointments and admissions

  • Develop and implement a data-based strategy for the proactive targeting of key partners

  • Identifying potential key accounts

  • Develop clear contact management and communication strategies

  • Relationship building is at the core of this role with both external and internal stakeholders


The successful candidate will possess the following key skills, abilities and experience:

  • Key relationship management skills and a proven track record in developing business through account managing/client relationship managing

  • It is ideal/desirable if you come sales background selling into GP/Pharma/Medical/Healthcare

  • Self-generating/lead generation experience is required - you will need to have a self-starter mentality when generating your local appointments

  • Ideally you will be educated to degree level

  • A proven track record in achieving business targets

  • An understanding of the private healthcare market is desirable

  • Ability to prioritise workload

  • Articulate and confident when speaking in public and presenting in front of audiences

*Having a driving licence is essential*

You must have the ability to travel around the Greater London area for meetings, seminars and training - your patch is Rickmansworth, Uxbridge, Watford, Wembley, Beaconsfield, South Kensington

Job Offer

The successful Business Development Manager will receive:

Salary between £32-40K base dependant on experience and previous salary with a 10% bonus to be paid quarterly.
