Business Development Manager - £24,000 basic OTE £50,000

The Role

Are you looking to join a well-established company and be part of an enthusiastic sales team? North West Vending are looking for a motivated, experienced individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager.

As the Business Development Manager, your main focus will be to build and maintain relationships with existing customers, including developing and maximizing new opportunities as well as to increase the new business account base through your own initiative or from leads supplied. This all means you will have to come in enthusiastic, driven and with strong communication skills! Are you up for the challenge?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and close new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Manage your portfolio of accounts, providing solutions and resolving conflict in a timely manner, to achieve long term success
  • Act as the key point of contact to handle customers’ individual needs
  • Set, track and report on sales account targets and sales metrics

The Person

The key skills and responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

  • Must be used to working within a team, be comfortable with performance measurement and achieving targets
  • Full clean driving license
  • Ability to identify customers’ critical business needs and ability to satisfy them
  • Brilliant communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to spot business opportunities and close deals
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
