We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join us here at Travelex.

It's an exciting time for us! Travelex has embarked on a significant digital transformation to ensure continued growth of the business in the future and we need great people to make this a reality.

Reporting into the Head of Sales, you will lead on the sales to Banks and Acquirers for the new Global Acquiring Platform. You will own and lead this sales strategy and maintain the relationships at a strategic level with both current and new Banks and Acquirers and identify business development opportunities.

To be successful in the role you will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the acquiring market and will be able to use this to your advantage.

What do your responsibilities include?Develop a prioritised target list of bank Partners and Acquirers including all current Travelex Acquirers in conjunction with the Commercial team and GEO directors and local sales managers

Agree KAM strategy (including contact strategy) by GEO ensuring we have a plan in each region that we are actively working onHelp manage renewals and negotiations with GEO sales managers on existing and new contracts integrating the new acquiring platform capabilities where possibleIdentify and implement incremental revenue initiatives and EBITDA opportunities with both existing and new accountsOwn & develop the overall sales plans for Banks and Acquirers by GEO and by customer with support from the GEO Commercial Director and teams based in regionHelp Geo Sales Manager develop key relationships with new Bank / Switch partnersDevelop and deliver sales plan for entire platform providing regular updates and pipeline sales documentationWork closely with Legal / Compliance and Finance managers for the Global Acquiring platform so they are aligned to sales pipeline and we mitigate any risks earlyWork closely with Commercial manager and Bid team (Commercial Manager / Finance / PMs / Bas / Technical Managers) to ensure implementation and delivery to customer is as smooth and efficient as possibleHelp manage large new contract and commercials of banks and acquiring partner relationships at a senior level

Who are you?

Have worked within the Bank / Card processing or switching environment for a number of years understanding both scheme and card processing rules and regulations

Building relationships and influencing stakeholders (internal and external)Senior relationship management and account development skillsResults/target drivenA strong record of performance improvement in their area of expertise, through increased sales, cost management or relevant performance measuresStrong commercial acumen and ability to apply solid commercial judgment to lead in their area of expertiseExperience of leading change in a multi-site environment
