Business Development Manager – £30,000 to £35,000 + up to £12,000 commission – London

The Role

Oxatis are looking for a Business Development Manager with a passion for success, experts who are masters of their craft. As Business Development Manager, you will be the first contact person for SME clients, driving direct sales discussions, closing leads, being a “ambassador” for the SaaS solution and services we deliver through our e-Commerce platform.

The successful candidate will be an individual with a desire to be excellent with an unyielding attitude, who welcome new and more demanding challenges each day. They should have a dynamic, young and ‘hungry to learn’ spirit, who has a positive and unstoppable winning attitude. The key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Following up on SQLs (sales-qualified lead); taking ownership of the full sales cycle from demonstrating the product, pricing, negotiation and closing
  • Building a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales target and ensure KPI’s are met
  • Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of our product by working closely with in-house trainers, presales, management and peers
  • Liasing with Customer Success to ensure a smooth professional handover happens between Oxatis and the client
  • Attending networking events to create leads and interest in the Oxatis offering
  • Demonstrating a willingness to perform and a desire to achieve monthly targets

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Business Development Manager:

  • At least three years’ experience within a similar role, with a proven ability to identify and develop new business
  • Able to successfully meet and/or exceed targets/KPI’s in a business environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure profitable subscription contracts, as well as strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player with a proven track record of working well in teams
  • SaaS, e-commerce, and general technology knowledge required
