This is an exciting and high-profile role for an experienced Business Development Manager, to come on board and join the team in central London. With the opportunity to grow nationally and internationally across the group, the role will be predominately be generating new business and selling online marketing contracts to a variety of different industries.

They're well established in the industry and possess a successful track record of helping businesses improve their online visibility, drive traffic and increase conversions. Their regular clients include blue-chip companies, household names, both across the UK and internationally.

Description

The new Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating revenue through proactive business development in this rapidly growing business with ambitious future plans.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Growing the sales pipeline, prospecting, generating and converting leads

  • Proactively approach new business and build rapport by calling and meeting clients

  • Successfully negotiate and close deals

  • Devise sales strategy to exceed sales targets

  • Preparing presentations, proposals and contracts

  • Keeping internal and CRM systems up to date

  • Developing and mapping the market by gaining industry knowledge

The new Business Development Manager needs to:

  • Have at least 3 years B2B sales experience

  • Have proven results in successfully closing new business, ideally selling to blue chip companies

  • Have experience in long sales cycles and high deal values

  • Be articulate, polished and professional with sophisticated negotiation skills

  • Have the ability to effectively prioritise, manage workload and pipeline

  • Have the maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office

Profile

The new Business Development Manager needs to:
