Business Development Manager - Industry Leading Conference

Salary: £30-45,000 basic salary with a realistic uncapped OTE of £25-35,000 on top

  • Targeting Marketing & Sales Directors through to C-suite.
  • Helping businesses achieve their sales & marketing goals through effective event sponsorship.

What you'll do: The Business Development Manager is a new role with in one of the fastest growing corporate events companies in Europe. Joining a workforce of 120 people, the successful candidate will become part of the sponsorship sales team. The role will require the individual to target C-Level decision makers across a range of industries seeking to target HR professionals. This role has come about as part of division-wide expansion plan for 2018, that will also see staff recruited in marketing and delegate sales to support lead generation for the BDM's. The fast growth this company are experiencing will open new opportunities for the Business Development Manager in the future - think quick progression, a receptive audience for your sales & a supportive, dynamic team around you.

Looking to triple their revenue over the next few years through both organic growth and acquisition of new events, the Business Development Manager will be joining the firm at a key time in its development. Backed by a private equity firm that has a track record of creating and growing successful start-ups, this business has the funding, knowledge and talent to become a big player in the events world.

What you'll be undertaking day-to-day:

  • Winning new business
  • Targeting C-level executive at large corporates across multiple industries
  • Attending regular face to face client meetings, and attending international events

What the business expects from you:

  • Proven B2B sales experience - 2-5+ years
  • New business hunter mentality and a pro-active attitude
  • Someone who is passionate about getting into a fast growth company

What you can expect from the business:

  • £30-45,000 basic with an uncapped realistic OTE of £25-35000
