Business Development Manager – £30k to £40k DOE, 1st Year OTE £45k to £55k

The Role

STL are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their London team. This role will see you selling STL’s comprehensive range of training programmes and building B2B relationships at all levels. These training programmes cover a range of critical aspects of the world of economy, including leadership and management training as well as business applications. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and be an integral part of the team that helps to forge the success of the business. You will benefit from a supportive network in a trusting office environment to flourish in this role to deliver the best service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop incremental sales from established clients
  • Handle qualified business leads
  • Outreach for new business leaders
  • Confidently sell the range of training programmes

Job Type and Benefits:

  • Full-time
  • Monthly: “Innovation” and “Extra Mile” awards up to £3000
  • Every six months: Financial and holiday bonus awards

The Person:

The key skills and qualifications of a Business Development Manager:

  • You will have 2+ years b2b solutions sales experience
  • The ability to drive and manage transactional sales on the telephone
  • A relevant degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working individually and in a team
  • Experience in dealing with clients face to face
  • IT skills across CRM, office apps and social platforms
  • Formal sales training is desirable
