The Role: This company is seeking an engaged, excitable and driven salesperson to join their team. They will be tasked with selling subscription services to real-time information on high profile individuals and celebrities. Prospecting media and PR agencies, the successful business development manager will be passionate about all things popular culture. Drawing upon that natural enthusiasm, they will be supported to prospect businesses and sell varying models of subscriptions dependent on the needs of the client. An articulate, consultative and informed approach is certainly required. In-house training is provided to supplement natural entrepreneurial flair so if you're a passionate salesperson looking to develop their skills in an (as yet) unparalleled celebrity data business, this is most definitely the role for you.

The Company: Established in 2011, this company's area of expertise is concerned with the accrual and accessibility of exclusive information for high profile individuals (i.e. media celebrities). This may include what events they are attending, who they have historically collaborated with and various other data tools indicating social media and marketing channel engagement. This small team offers undisputable and essential content enabling businesses to formulate and strategize how they may engage with these high-profile and sought-after famous individuals to inspire, network and grow their business.

As Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting marketing divisions over the phone
  • Booking meetings and closing business face-to-face
  • Attend networking events and seize opportunities to build relationships

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • At least 6 months business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience selling subscription services hugely advantageous
  • Passion about the sector is absolutely critical
