My client is an internationally known tile and ceramics company, with a new showroom due to be opened in Clerkenwell, London. With a huge presence in Europe, they are searching for the right individual to debut their products to the UK, via architects and designers.

Their vision is to be a leading global brand within tiles and ceramics, which is forward thinking in the inclusion of all its stakeholders in the journey of perfection.


The key responsibilities of the Business Development Executive are:

  • Maintain relationships between current clients and expand upon these relationships with regular visits to site and their offices.
  • Develop relationships with new architects and designers by effectively representing the brand and creating lasting relationships.
  • Attend and organise PR events for product launches and networking purposes.

  • Attend international exhibition dedicated to innovations in the building, construction and architecture sector, including Cersaie and Batimat.


The successful Business Development Executive will:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the sale of tiles and ceramic products into the building and construction industry.
  • The ability to travel abroad for the purposes of orientation into the company
  • Live within commutable distance of Clerkenwell, London
  • Have a client base, mainly consisting of architects and designers and proven track record of sales into this market
  • A good understanding and some technical experience of the tile industry and the products respectively.
  • Will be able to travel abroad quarterly for sales meetings
