The Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for pro-actively sourcing new clients and closing new business. This sales executive role calls for a full sales cycle. It is expected that the successful business development manager will confidently gain commitment over the phone and meet clients face-to-face to close the deals. Contacting heads of finance departments and those at C-Level, the business development manager will be confident, articulate and analytical in their approach. With the autonomy to sell across a variety of verticals, this role would suit someone who is hungry and determined in their approach.

Introducing the business development manager into a team of twenty, the business is looking for someone with a keen understanding of the financial markets and how tax consultancy serves to benefit a vast array of businesses. Seeking a big character and someone who is self-sufficient, the business are keen to encourage someone with the capacity to build their own pipeline and to nurture those bought on accounts.

As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting prospective clients on the phone
  • Pro-actively sourcing and closing new business deals
  • Targeting businesses all over the country across a variety of verticals

For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 2-3 years business-to-business sales experience
  • Ideally sold at MD or FD level
  • Confident and competitive persona
