The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in the growth of the company through targeting Legal 500 firms, private and public companies. You will be generating business through prospecting, and developing long term lucrative accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager who wants to make their mark and develop a long term career.

My client is a market leader offering a bespoke solution on highly contentious, multi-lingual and multi-jurisdictional matters with time critical deadlines to various industries. With a satellite office in London they have key accounts based there as well as in the North.

Description

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing the UK market in the North as well as in London
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Build partner relationships for indirect sales
  • Maximise up-sell opportunities
  • Immersing yourself in the industry and winning business through a consultative sell
  • Able to overnight in London or another major city in the UK a few times a week - Fully expensed

Although the office is in Greater Manchester, they do have a satellite office in London, and would consider someone working out of there who is willing to travel to head office when necessary.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will:

  • At least 3 years B2B sales in an internal or external role but must be currently client facing
  • A proven track record of winning and growing business internally and face to face
  • You will have sold one of the following: solution, software, Sold to Legal firms or been in recruitment
  • Someone who has dealt with Legal firms in a B2B sales position - Not essential
  • Able to overnight in London or another major city in the UK a few nights a week
  • Able to commute to the head office in Greater Manchester 3-4 times a week
  • You will be articulate, engaging and driven

Job Offer
