This award winning digital service delivery agency is looking for a senior BDM with significant experience of selling into Central Government and exposure to promoting digital service design, build and delivery.

The successful candidate will have experience of selling solutions into Central Government that facilitate the transition from legacy to digital services and will have an overall understanding of central government policies and direction. The senior BDM will be expected to manage all aspects of the sales cycle; securing new wins and long term client relationships.

Specific Responsibilities

- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of new business opportunities
- Work with inside sales, marketing and directly to secure new meetings and engagements
- Forecasting to management
- Achieve and exceed personal sales targets
- Overall responsibility for current central government clients
- Manage, plan and grow allocated client relationships and revenue streams
- Research and become an expert in Central Government and specific domains (e.g Justice)
- Develop, maintain and get business support for central government GTM strategy
- Present and demonstrate core solutions

Essential Skills

- Demonstrable experience of finding and closing new business in central government
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation, qualification, selling and closing skills
- Ability to understand complex business environments, issues, processes and systems
- Strong understanding of the marketplace and industry
- Excellent planning and forecasting skills
- Proven ability to develop conversations at multiple levels in an organisation (inc the senior team)
- Awareness of digital technologies and IT / cloud architectures

Desired Skills

- Current experience of working with at least one of Home Office or Ministry of Justice
- Experience of one or more sales methodology (eg Miller Heimann)
- Experience of working with CRM (e.g Sugar or similar)
- Demonstrable experience of persuading and influencing
- Experience of working with Microsoft and Google office tools

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-confident and self-motivated
