Business Development Manager - Vehicles - £45-50k + £15k + Car

The Role: Covering the UK and being based in the Midlands, the new Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling to end users such as civil main contractors and highways contractors, as well as the public sector including the MOD and Highways Agencies. Inheriting a good pipeline to work from, you will be calling on fleet and project managers, negotiating sales deals in the region of £200k. Full product training is standard here.
The Company: Over fifty years old and currently leading their market sector, our client is a highly profitable and cash-rich company now seeking a new Business Development Manager. They manufacture and sell custom made truck trailers for carrying abnormal loads, with the majority of their products designed for drive-on applications.
For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will have sold products with high value orders or long sales cycles into main and civil contractors
  • Outstanding candidates who have sold large or commercial vehicles into fleet users may also be considered
  • A good technical appreciation and plenty of credibility are sought
