Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Executive / Field Sales / Telesales / Technology / AV / Audio Visual / B2B / B2C

Business Development Manager, with 2+ yrs sales experience and a proven track record of lead generation, nurturing and selling to corporate and domestic markets, is needed for our client, the UK's leading Audio Visual design and integration company, to be based in Wimborne, Dorset. With both corporate and domestic clients, they strive to offer the best quality systems available.

Due to their success, they are now looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join their team to further grow the business.

With a custom built showroom and demonstration suites, you will have all the tools to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the domestic retail store, enquiries, stock and team. Other key duties will also include canvassing, prospecting, promoting and ultimately selling their services & solutions in the local area & beyond.

Required skills:

  • At least 2 years proven direct sales experience
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, be able to open and close opportunities confidently
  • Consultative, managerial approach with ability to form long standing relationships to maximise sales and profits
  • Customer focused, hardworking, driven and a hunger to succeed
  • Good communicator with excellent speaking and listening skills, both face to face and on the phone
  • Good time and diary management
  • Strong team player with a 'go get it' attitude
  • AV Experience would be beneficial, however not essential as on job training will be provided for the successful person

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + uncapped quarterly commission + vehicle allowance + 28 days holidays
