The Role: Calling on pubs, restaurants, wholesalers and food manufacturers, both independents and groups, the new Business Development Manager will offer a range of highest quality products as well as a reputation for flexibility, delivery and speed. Your role involves talking to business owners, new product developers, chefs and catering managers in a largely new business capacity, with around half your time spent in their East Midlands offices.
The Company: Established since the early 1990s, our client has grown to be the UKs leading innovative supplier of delicatessen meats. They offer meat products from eight food manufacturers and are now looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to complement their sales team.
For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You will come from a B2B sales background, having sold something related to food
A passion for food is important
Outgoing sales people with a good deal of professionalism and a team playing approach
