The Organisation has developed a variety of insight platforms which are licenced to clients of theirs and used for the delivery of some of their consultancy offerings and Care Insights. Further products are in development which are based on their engagement with clients and look to enhance their existing offerings, building repeatable solutions for clients to automate and optimise insights.

Job Description

Working in a target driven environment, the organisation is seeking a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for identifying, engaging and bringing clients on board and generating revenue, through licences to a variety of platforms or consulting offerings.

The role is responsible for providing a key frontline interface between the market and prospective clients, working through multiple channels, including but not limited to external networking, events, desk based research and telephone based business development

The role has primary responsibility for:

  • lead generation, follow-up and prospect management using the CRM and all available tools;
  • identifying and managing new business opportunities and following up on leads as appropriate to drive increased numbers of meetings;
  • managing new business prospects and ensuring timely conversion as per set targets;
  • signing up new clients as per agreed targets and in line with overall budget;
  • building strong client relationships and ensuring proactive ownership of renewals process
  • supporting the development of engaged client communities and acting as the Voice of the Client;
  • improving the organisation's route to market through reviewing sales collateral including brochures and web pages and exploring new channels;
  • understanding client strategies and needs, identifying gaps, opportunities and new use case stories;
  • supporting the development of go to market strategies around new offerings/methodologies;
  • event management inclusive of training, round tables and client events in conjunction with the account management team;
  • campaign management in conjunction with the marketing and account management teams; ensuring 100% compliance with all firm processes regarding take on etc. to ensure effectiveness of end to end process;
  • driving new sales collateral and streamlines processes to maximise operational effectiveness.

  • Strong background in business development
  • Highly personable and team focused, credible and professional
  • Dynamic, self-motivated individual who can demonstrate an ability to take initiative and propose innovative solutions
  • Experience of selling software as a service
  • Experience of working in a sales or target-driven environment as part of a team
  • Experience of communicating, liaising and reporting with senior management and across a large organisation
  • Flexible approach with ability to respond quickly when priorities change

Job Offer

A basic salary of up to £40,000 plus uncapped commission and an extensive list of company benefits
