The company is a boutique UK cloud service provider who specialise in enabling companies to progress along the path of cloud maturity while driving better outcomes from their customers' existing technology investments.

Their ability to deliver flexible infrastructures utilising both private and public cloud technologies coupled with our responsive, agile, and above-all hugely capable technical teams is why customers choose them above larger, slower-moving competitors and their innovative Transformation-as-a-Service approach separates them from other competitors. Services range from traditional VMware-based infrastructure; Backup & DR, to public cloud management with AWS, Azure, and Google; as well as newer PaaS & Dev-Ops and Containerisation services.

The commercial and marketing team is based in Brighton, however with the sales team often working remotely and with other group office located in Richmond and Theale they're flexible about where you base yourself and anticipate a degree of home working as well in these times.

The Role:

They are currently searching for a talented BDE who specialises in Lead Generation to join their growing Sales & Marketing team.

As a BDE, lead generation will be one of your primary responsibilities to support the growth of the business as they seek to aggressively increase sales revenues in this exciting time of company's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward the company's sales strategy with high volume lead generation
  • Focussed campaign activity on specific verticals
  • Develop sales opportunities via cold calling, email, social media
  • Develop new prospects & clients through market research
  • Update the CRM with new prospect information
  • Source new prospects using LinkedIn & other platforms
  • Communicate product descriptions, which requires getting accurate information from the prospective customer and interpreting it in a cold call or email
  • Making outgoing "cold" to "hot" calls to develop new business opportunities
  • Follow up with the sales manager, and sales team
  • Generate quality, well qualified leads

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in Cloud Services (or any IT field)
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing (5 years Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • CRM and Email Automation experience (we use Hubspot)
  • Use of Social Media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn & LinkedIn Navigator)
  • A high level of professionalism
  • Ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of our services and offerings
  • Persistent attitude
  • High-volume cold calling appointment setting, or lead generation experience
  • Detail oriented, driven and tenacious strong in self-motivation
  • A self-starter with ability to work on own initiative
  • Results oriented and great at multi-tasking
