Our client is looking to appoint a BDE/ CDE based in Leeds to manage, grow and develop key accounts and develop new accounts.
As the Customer Development Executive, reporting in to the Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for representing a range of premium branded drinks within the on trade channel. The role is a mix of 70% account management and 30% new business, covering the Yorkshire Region but with a specific focus on Leeds.
Ideally you will be working in an on trade field sales role although this isn't essential.
This could also be a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the hospitality industry, or in an on trade telesales role who would like to break into a field based position within the drinks sector.
You must be based on patch within West Yorkshire.
Responsible for growth & development of our clients portfolio within the regional sales territory.
Meet or exceed sales objectives and sales and revenue targets
Retain and nurture existing customers, ensuring repeat sales, volume growth, increased rate of sale and customer satisfaction.
Open quality new customers, promoting distribution through approved route to market partners.
Build effective trading relationships with key decision makers ensuring you successfully manage & develop draught and packaged volumes in existing outlets while introducing new business to the Company.
Develop both volume and value of brands through new business growth via brand listings in quality new and existing customers.
Key skills and experience required:
Experience of working in an on trade sales role would be highly desirable
Experience within the hospitality industry is essential
A strong knowledge and passion for the drinks/on trade sector is crucial
Results orientated, tenacious and driven approach
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Full, UK driving license
Basic salary up to £24,000 (dependent on experience)
