Sales Executive £25k-£30k + kickers and career progression!

About the role

The Business Development Executive will be office based and will focus on filling the company’s pipeline with qualified leads. 

You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and Head of Sales Operations to generate new leads and prospects through targeted outbound calls and email campaigns, followed up with appropriate qualification and business mapping calls.

This role offers great career progression to a Business Development Manager position, within three years.

Responsibilities

Lead/ Prospect Generation

  • Obtain a thorough understanding of Wavex offering, our client base as part of an induction program in order to be able to discuss and educate potential clients on the benefits of engaging with Wavex
  • Undertake comprehensive, extensive research on (warm) leads and prospective clients to have informed conversations about their needs. 
  • Qualify prospects. Pass any resulting leads to the relevant Account Manager in timely manner to maximise effectiveness of the campaign
  • Follow the lead qualification process and ensure the progress is recorded in CRM (Apex)
  • Work with the sales team to determine appropriate target clients, the ideal contact points and their business challenges to focus on
  • Daily call through to and have high level conversations with decision makers (CEOs, COOs, CFOs etc.), scheduling meetings (approx. 3 per week) off the back of these calls
  • Engage with prospects at a variety of networking events to increase a pipeline of business, (as and when required)
  • Conduct appropriate and prompt follow up calls to map out the prospects business potential
  • Ensure all leads are passed on promptly and effectively as per the set procedures

Professional Experience

  • Experience of telesales within professional services (B2B)
  • Experience of working within the IT service sector (desirable)
  • Experience of working within defined target environment
  • Evidence of achieving set targets
