Client Details

Our client is a ~100M T.O company based just outside of Wetherby, in the financial services sector. They are well known in the sector as the most staff friendly company, with many exciting perks and benefits provided for staff at all levels.

Working in the financial services industry, our client is process driven and needs someone who is able to learn & understand the finesse needed in a technical industry guided my regulation.

The company puts high importance in their staffs well-being and have many programmes and benefits aligned with that philosophy!


The key responsibilities for the Business Development Executive are:

  • Map our their market and strategically target high profit sectors
  • Work in a team to cover their region, contacting businesses
  • B2B sales calls, in charge of the full sales cycle
  • Prospect potential clients through multiple channels; telephone, social media, emails
  • Work towards both team and personal targets
  • Forecast weekly sales
  • Attend training & development sessions
  • Represent the client, providing great customer service levels


The successful Business Development Executive will:

  • Proven telephone based sales experience (6 months+)
  • ability to use and navigate through a CRM system
  • track record in closing sales, booking meetings, generating leads
  • Be hard working & have a positive attitude even during the tough times
  • Be resiliant and able to work towards targets
  • Open to evolution of the role into new areas and sectors
  • Commutable to near Wetherby (9-5 hours)
