My Client is currently looking for a business development executive to join their growing team to provide high level C level customer acquisition and to promote a government backed initiatives to SME's in London and the south east.

Client Details

My Client is one of the largest Professional services companies in the world. They put a large emphasis on working with companies from the entire business spectrum, working alongside some of the biggest names in the world all the way to small businesses and startups. Our client has recently begun working on promoting a new government backed initiative to help with businesses internal functions and increase productivity.


Duties of the Business Development Executive Include:

  • Supporting the business development team with the development and management of leads

  • Promote benefits of the initiative to businesses all around the south of England

  • Proactively manage the client journey with a consultative approach

  • Understand and influence the client's decision and closing sales where the opportunity arises through telephone conversations with prospects leading them to a successful outcome.

  • Meet and exceed set targets for the conversion of leads to Workshop attendees and meetings

  • Liaising with administrative and growth executive teams, and the analytical and insights team to ensure a joined-up approach to client journey management and performance reporting.

  • Follow up all marketing campaigns and lead lists to generate prospects for the Business Development Managers in terms of Meetings, Conference Calls and /or Workshops

  • Maintain effective management of client portfolio within the CRM and show initiative in dealing with problems


The successful Business Development Executive will have:

  • First class influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to promote effectively

  • Background in B2B telesales selling into C suite executive

  • Great customer service aptitude

  • Must be confident conversing with clients over the phone on a wide range of topics

  • Strong organisational ability and be able to use MS packages as well as CRM systems

  • A credible professional mentality and be effective at engaging with senior business figures

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree level qualification

  • Background in financial management or data processing

  • B2B sales experience
