We have 2 exciting opportunities for Business Development Consultants to join our team based in Manchester.

As a Business Development Consultant you will be responsible for developing Santander’s intermediary relationships by supporting our registered IFAs and brokers. You will be responsible for educating intermediaries about our mortgage proposition including mortgage products and risk policy. You will provide best in class service, guidance and support to IFAs and brokers creating loyalty and support for Santander throughout your calls.

As a Business Development Consultant your main responsibilities will be

* Developing Santander’s intermediary relationship by supporting our IFA and brokers in conjunction with our BDM field teams.

* Educating intermediaries about our full mortgage proposition including risk policy, application submission, packaging requirements and communicating underwriting decisions being just a few of the areas that you will be involved in on a daily basis.

* Providing best in class service, guidance and support creating loyalty and support for Santander throughout your calls.

* Managing and delivering a high level of call volumes, adding value on both inbound & outbound calls and seeking opportunities where possible.

* Consistently evidencing a strong knowledge of the wider mortgage market, your customers and our proposition.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Strong customer service background

* Telephony experience

* Evidence in building and sustaining strong relationships in previous roles

* Being able to learn and retain the knowledge and information

* Communicates in a clear, confident and personable manner
