Business Development Associate – £22,000 to £25,000 + commission (£35,000 OTE) – Farringdon, London

The Role

Tod is looking for three ambitious and motivated Business Development Associates to join the Tod Print growth team. The growth team are responsible for generating new opportunities, liaising with clients to discuss new briefs and general marketing of the studio and creative services. You will be responsible for generating leads and nurturing relationships with clients whilst expanding the business. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic work environment within business development and sales.

The key responsibilities of a Business Development Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Generating new business through developing new business and relationships
  • Building and nurturing a prospect pipeline, accurately forecasting incoming deals and cash flows
  • Nurturing inbound leads to set appointments and developing relationships with these leads for the purpose of acquiring new business
  • Generating new sales opportunities through outbound calling
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets

The Company

Tod is a creative studio based in Farringdon, London. We provide production and print services to a range of clients including Boots, HSBC, Virgin Atlantic and Chanel, as well as agency partners such as Wunderman Thompson, Arc, Unruly and Karmarama. Our studio has some of the most advanced production technology in London and we have a deep network of supplier relationships in Europe and the Far East.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Business Development Associate:

  • Must have previous sales experience, though not necessarily in creative services or print production
  • Metrically driven; highly motivated and ability to work with a metrically driven team
  • Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner and ability to sell on a telephone
  • Experience in marketing over social channels such as LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Ability to learn and take on new ideas, with a passion for learning and self-improvement
