We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Consultant, Process Design and Change Management to join our team in Milton Keynes.

Working within a fast paced environment you will be responsible for the end to end process design and change management which impacts Retail and Business Banking Customers. As the Business Consultant, you will lead on the successful design of business processes and definition of business requirements, as well as managing high profile implementations. You will report to Santander UK leadership on progress against the divisions and banks strategic plans, including alignment to the Simple, Personal and Fair objectives.

This position sits within the Mortgage Process and Change function within the Mortgage Domain, which plays an important role in the continual improvement of business processes, operational efficiency and customer service propositions, moving Santander UK to being one of the most efficient banks in the UK. The Mortgage Domain is playing a leading role in transforming the bank, both technologically and culturally. We have created new structures and approaches designed to foster collaboration, agile practices and enhance our current technology.

As a Business Consultant – Process Design and Change Management your main responsibilities will be

* Creating detailed and thorough as-is analysis of different products and processes where they don’t exist.
* Engaging with core SME’s to design to-be processes that focus on the customer for Santander’s products, alongside the IT deliverables as part of the projects.
* Working in Agile product teams, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.
* Maintaining stakeholder relationships to successfully drive the project to completion, identifying all required information and balancing the competing priorities across the organisation.
* Leading and working collaboratively with cross functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of change projects within the Bank; maintaining effective project governance deliverables, including impact assessments, implementation plans and RAID logs.
* Ensuring that technical requirement documents or prototypes are created to the correct specifications as outlined by the business requirement documents.
* Engaging with core SME’s to agree UAT approach, creating test scripts and supporting UAT execution.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills; proven in managing deliverables to deadlines with great communication skills.
* Previous experience with Retail and Business Banking products and processes.
* Ability to understand the limitations and opportunities provided by Digital channels such as internet and mobile.
* Ability to collect, analyse and condense complex and dispersed information.
* Ability to manage ambiguity and independent work-; Proactive, takes the lead and thrives in a challenging environment; ability to take the lead in unclear circumstances in order to progress an initiative.
