This role is within the UK/IRE marketing team for JJV, a small but lively team. You will be one of a number of marketers working across the brand portfolio, which includes ACUVUE, blink and a range of contact lens solutions.
You’ll be responsible for a specific brand/segment within our portfolio (classic brand/product management). All JJV UK/IRE marketers work across both professional and consumer marketing, to both drive eye care professional advocacy, and consumer demand, for the brand.
In addition, the scope of this role includes supporting the delivery of our consumer and professional digital marketing strategy (consumer and professional website content strategy and management, eCRM, social media strategy, online support for consumer journey etc.) – approximate 50/50 split between these 2 elements of the role.
You will report into a Group Brand Manager.

The marketing team work closely with Professional Affairs, Key Accounts, and the Salesforce management team in the UK/IRE business. A strong customer (retailer) focus is an essential part of how we do business and you’ll work closely with our key account leads as relevant for your specific brand/segment within the portfolio, in order to drive perfection in customer activation.
The role also involves working closely with the EMA marketing team on a UK lead market basis.
The purpose of the role.
Brand manager for Johnson & Johnson Vision, with day-to-day responsibility for a specific brand/segment within the portfolio, including both strategic and executional aspects. Group Brand Manager will support shaping of strategy.
Digital specialism is key in the support and delivery of our consumer and professional digital marketing strategy.
Occasional travel around the UK e.g. conferences, work-with days with sales reps. Occasional trips within EMA (1 or 2 per year)

Drive performance by owning and delivering the strategic plan (annual business plan) for your specific brand/segment within the portfolio
* Health of business - monitoring of (sales, share, wearers. Analysis, insights and implications)
* Source of growth/volume - identifying/defining
* Competitor focus - monitor activity & derive insight
* Sales force execution strategy liaising with overall sales force execution strategy lead
Excellence in execution and delivery of compelling consumer and professional experience
* Consumer outreach campaigns – media, PR, influencers
* Sales force execution - selling decks, printed and other assets, national sales meeting training/briefing sessions
* Professional plan including print & digital media, conferences in liaison with conferences lead
* Creative/content – use global with locally-led work where necessary
* Product lifecycle management (discontinuations, migration, NPD planning)
* Forecasting of supply
Unlock category growth by winning with our key account customers
Drive category growth & maintain/grow JJV share within our key account customers by:
1. leading marketing aspects of specific projects/initiatives
2. establishing relationships with the relevant KA contacts (head office and store level)
3. consumer outreach specific to key account
Develop and execute the Digital Marketing plan
* Consumer and professional websites
* Consumer social media
* Paid media planning and development in relation to customer journey support
* Holistic digital support to brand teams
Seeking an established, competent brand manager with the confidence and experience to take the reins in this role quickly. Critical to be self sufficient, hardworking and focused on delivery. Digital skills and experience desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly
