The role of the Branch Manager – Painting & Decorating Products will involve:

• Branch Manager position promoting a comprehensive range of painting and decorating products such as paint, woodcare, wallcoverings and wallpaper
• Selling into painting & decorating contractors, builders merchants & DIY end users
• Contributing to a branch turnover of circa £1.5m
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch
• Management of a team of 4-5 staff members including managing staff rotas
• Focusing on staff development, completing performance reviews, 1-2-1’s etc.
• Develop current branch systems to increase new accounts and maximise growth

The ideal applicant will be a Branch Manager – Painting & Decorating Products with:

Must have management experience from within a branch, DIY store or merchants

Any knowledge or experience of the paint industry is highly advantageous but not essential

Must have a ‘hands-on’ approach to management

Must be able to generate new business relationships as well as manage existing relationship

Friendly, flexible and committed to leading a team

Must have tons of energy and enthusiasm 

Genuine credibility dealing with clients and able to utilise internal relationships
