What you will do
The role of Sales Engineer serves the UK Building Management Systems (BMS) market, you will report directly to the UK and France regional Products Sales Director. As a member of this strategic UK wide team, you will work within a dynamic environment to provide a high-level of exposure and influence to decision makers within the BMS Consultants, Contractors and System Houses sector.
You will be responsible for the business development of Johnson Controls BMS systems within your dedicated geographical zone via our growing network of System House partners. This is a new role at an exciting time of growth within JCI. The UK products business has historically been focused on the wholesaler and OEM channels, offering to the market a range of HVAC&R field components such as valves, sensors and controllers.
How you will do it
As Sales Engineer you will be highly result driven, focused, and able to work autonomously. Your wide knowledge of Building Management Systems, and of the UK BMS market, as well as your excellent communication and negotiation skills, will allow you to easily enter into contact with the Consultants, Contractors and System Houses to propose Johnson Controls range of BMS solutions.

A strong understanding of Sales within the BMS industry
Strong leader with a proven track record of leading within a commercial environment
Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
