BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - IT SOFTWARE/HARDWRE SOLUTIONS - £45-50K + 50% OTE
THE ROLE: As Business Development Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of business solutions to a variety of industries spanning various markets such as Legal, Accountancy, IT Services and Property. Dealing with C-level points of contacts, ranging from CIO through to CEOs, you will need a sophisticated, credible and adaptable approach. The role of Business Development Sales Manager is a new business focused role, where you will be passed leads from an internal Account sales team and Marketing department. The role of Business Development Sales Manager will see you working on projects worth in the region of £200K+ so you must be able to deal with longer lead times as part of your sales process.
THE PERSON: To succeed in the role of Business Development Sales Manager, you will have a high degree of tenacity, strong closing skills and the ability to adapt your style to your audience. You must have previously sold a business service so for example business intelligence or Managed Print services, but these are examples as our client will also consider candidates who have sold other business services.
