More About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and determined individual to join a growing business in the recycling sector. This newly created role is ideally suited to a sales generalist, with its varied remit, covering sales and sales generation for both inbound services and outbound materials.
You will be enthusiastic and organised, with a winning mentality to consistently deliver business targets and delight to our customers.
You will have demonstrated the ability to manage sales pipelines, lead generation and closing opportunities whilst representing both AO Recycling’s best in class services and cultural values.
You will support the development of a sales strategy, working closely with the Business Development Manager, Commercial Team and Sales and Marketing Director. This strategy will be multi-faceted and incorporate execution of the strategy.
You will be experienced in results-orientated environment, understanding market drivers, recognising the value of great service and support, and ultimately delivering bottom line performance.
You will be comfortable in understanding complicated service propositions along with more simple transactional deals, across embedded customers and also with prospective customers.
Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing
Build relationships at all levels, understanding the impact of the sales function on all business areas.Customer base management, ensuring the base of customers are diverse, loyal, engaged and transactional.Building relationships with customers underpinned by professional service excellence, mutual understanding and loyalty.Provide competitor insight, market trends and work closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure AO Recycling maximise sales opportunities.Provide feedback on propositions and work closely with other teams to evaluate propositions to maximise conversion to sales.Managing a sales pipeline including opportunity qualification, diary management and requirements to close the deal.Continuously review the market place, understanding potential opportunities and driving lead generation via multiple routes (including outbound calling, face to face meetings, facility tours, mail shots, article publications, etc)Manage existing customer base, ensuring AO Recycling retain the trust and loyalty of the customer base, whilst also continuously improving customer experience and enhancing the proposition.Deliver best in class on-boarding process for new customers, liaising closely with finance, transport, operational and compliance teams.Gain an understanding of the markets, pricing, services, costs to fulfil the services and capacity to drive volumes across multiple products/services/channels.Report into the Business Development Manager, as part of the Commercial Team.
