A vacancy has arisen in a busy Sales Department of an expanding insolvency practice. The role is to make contact with and build relationships with Businesses to identify their financial requirements. To liaise with other Departments to ensure quality of service.
The role is that of a Lead Generator and Appointment Setter within the Telesales Team based at our clients Head Office in Sheffield.
The candidate will be working in a friendly, fast-paced environment and must be able to manage own workload with a view to reaching and exceeding set targets and deadlines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Identifying potential prospects. Likely clients will be various sized businesses from a wide variety of industry sectors
Contacting business owners and decision makers to identify anticipated commercial finance needs
Building rapport with client and undertaking financial fact-find
Arranging appointment for Senior Corporate Finance Consultant
Managing workload to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
Managing own time effectively with basic administration duties.
Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good team worker but also be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
Computer literate with experience in using Excel and Word.
Experience working with databases would be helpful.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Will report initially to the Senior Corporate Finance Consultant and ultimately to the Associate Director.
Successful experience within a B2B telesales environment preferable. Working in a banking or finance background whilst preferable is not essential as full training will be given.
Hours are 9 : 5 Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary £15 - £17k p.a. depending upon experience plus bonus scheme
