POSITION:     B2B Account Manager

SALARY:      Competitive basic salary plus target based OTE commission

DESCRIPTION:

Based in South London, our client manufactures and distributes 3 existing brands across the Skin Care, Hair Care and Colour Cosmetics industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has experience of running multiple B2B retail accounts across different brands in the beauty industry.

The role is to oversee the successful and efficient management of our existing retailers including pharmacies, natural health stores, department and independent stores, across the UK and Ireland. 

Working under the Operations Manager and alongside the Head of Communication and Brand Managers, you will take ownership of managing the business development and marketing communications for key accounts.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

  • At least 3 years’ experience of B2B account management – ideally within the multi-retailer sector
  • Proven knowledge and networks within the beauty retail industry
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • The ability to build trust and a long-standing relationship with the key retail accounts to drive revenue within each account
  • Manage our Retail staff
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proven ability to work within both a team and alone
  • Experience in POS development and management
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
  • Excellent understanding of sales and marketing principals and practice, and how to drive/increase revenue streams within an existing client base
  • Self-motivated and setting goals is vital to succeed in this demanding role

  

THE ROLE

  • You will be the face of the brands to our clients, the first port of call.
  • Your aim is to develop these existing accounts through building trusted and professional relationships.
  • Account development will involve order management, POS, marketing management, introducing further SKUs and cross promoting in a timely manner.
  • Seeing and seizing opportunities to further the relationship and drive more sales to grow the business.
  • The role will require regular communication with all retailers, through the appropriate channels, though based at our offices in SW18, store visits are required throughout the UK and Ireland.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders, including Brand Managers, Head of Marketing, Graphic Design, Social Media, E-commerce, Product Specialists and Logistics to offer the best service to customers.
  • To log and update all activity on our CRM, knowledge of Zoho One is a plus.

On off is a competitive basic salary plus target based OTE commission. Your travel expenses will be covered and you will have the necessary tools to succeed.
