Associate Director of Sales

  • Selling membership to a nationally recognised government lobbying organisation
  • Contacting C-Level decision-makers to obtain commitment
  • Attending 5-10 meetings per month culminating in face-to-face closing

The Role: This highly reputable membership organisation is looking for a passionate, articulate and commercially astute individual to join their instantly recognisable business as an Associate Director of Sales. Primarily comprised of winning new business, the successful Director of Sales will benefit from also inheriting some large key accounts. With these key accounts, they will need to cross-sell, up-sell and offer wider opportunities to encourage further growth. Working on a full sales cycle, the successful Director of Sales will need to be experienced, politically focused and commercially aware. Consultative in their approach, they must be proficient in understanding the myriad of pain points a business could be experiencing and offering the membership as access to solving these issues.

As the Associate Director of Sales, your responsibilities will include:

  • 85% of this role is tasked with winning new business
  • Inheriting six large key accounts
  • Full sales cycle: prospecting through to a passionate close

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 5-10 years' experience in business-to-business sales
  • Experienced in holding an autonomous full sales cycle role
  • Articulate, presentable, and commercially astute
