Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Water Heating Systems

Area to be covered: South West & South Wales

Remuneration: £45,000neg (dependant on experience) + 2.5% of all sales uncapped commission   

Benefits: company car or £400 car allowance

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Water Heating Systems will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of water heating systems / solutions such as: water heaters, heat exchangers, packaged plant rooms, hung boilers, floor standing boilers, pressurisation units and booster sets
  • For large commercial and industrial projects such as; hotels, hospitals, gyms, universities, prisons, MOD etc
  • 70% of your time will be spent generating specifications with M&E consultants and specifiers
  • 20% selling to M&E contractors, mechanical contractors and plumbing & heating installers
  • The remaining 10% will be spent sealing with large end users projects such as; prison and MOD
  • Once up and running will be expected to generate circa £70k turnover per month
  • Average order values £15k-£30k
  • 50/50 split new business and account management
  • Will have glenigans lead generator and CRM system

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Water Heating Systems with:

·         Must have commercial sales experience selling to M&E consultants and M&E contractors

·         Must have sold a technical associated products / solution such as; boilers, heat exchanges, plant rooms, ventilation, fittings, valves, water heaters, biomass boilers, heat pumps / renewable energy pipes, pumps, flue systems

·         Ideally plant rooms

·         Must have generated specification via M&E consultants

·         Must have worked on large commercial & industrial projects such as; hospitals, gyms, hospitals, universities

·         Able to sell a technical solution

·         Self-starter, high work ethic with plenty of ‘get up and go’
