Area to be covered: Northern Home Counties, Anglia, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire & South Lincolnshire
Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 + £6,500 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Tile & Flooring Building Products will involve:
· Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of tile adhesives and grouts , flooring levellers, moisture control products, flooring adhesives, repair mortars, liquid waterproofing and external levellers
· 90% of your time account managing approx. 200 builders merchant branches
· 10% new business development, stimulating demand with general builders, housebuilders, waterproofing contractors and concrete repair contractors
· Inhering a ledger worth circa £1.2m, currently performing at approx. 80% of budget expectation
· Tasked with growing the area by at least 5%
· Visiting the top 20% of accounts at least monthly
· Visiting the mid level accounts every other month and the low spending accounts ¾ times per year
· Account base split approx 70% branches of national merchants, (Travis Perkins, Jewson, Selco etc.)30% small independent branches (split 90% builders merchants, 10% specialist merchants/ distributors for waterproofing/ concrete repair etc.)
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Tile & Flooring Building Proucys with:
· Must have sold to builders merchants or specialist merchants/ distributors for waterproofing/ concrete repair etc.
· Must have sold building products
· Knowledge of tile adhesives and grouts , flooring levellers, moisture control products, flooring adhesives, repair mortars, liquid waterproofing and external levellers is not essential
· Ideally with some experience of sold into general builders, housebuilders, waterproofing contractors or concrete repair contractors
· High energy levels
· Excellent territory planning capability
