Area Sales Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Field Sales Executive, required for a company who are a leading specialist producer of commercial solar panels for the construction, roofing industry, selling primarily to Roofing companies, Engineers, Project Managers, Architects and Main contractors.

 

Salary of circa basic £35k+ bonus with OTE of £50k + company car and other benefits,  

 

Covering; Northern England. Ideal location M62 corridor

 

Sector: Roofing and construction Industry.

 

Job description: 

Your role will be to develop sales by promoting the company range and influence product awareness to Architects, Roofing Companies, Clients, Engineers, Project Managers and Main Contractors having the ability to influence building design and client procuredures.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • To agree and achieve area and product sales budgets / targets in conjunction with the director.
  • To keep in regular contact with roofing contractor accounts and introduce validated new customers in line with target and holding regular account development reviews.
  • To undertake adequate quality face-to-face appointments per week in line with management requirements.
  • To promote the company’s products to architects and specifiers to gain specification on current and future projects
  • Maintain and report accurate records of all call activity providing feedback to management on contact with existing and prospective customers, current and future projects, specification development, competitor activity

Skills / Experience;

You will have previous Field sales experience in a similar role, preferably in the Roofing Industry however related trade experience would also be considered

 

Good Technical knowledge of roof and cladding systems.

 

Specification Sales experience with relevant architectural experience.

 

Excellent communication and people skills.

 

Good organisational skills

 

Commercial awareness.

 

Good general construction knowledge.

 

Ability to work in a high pressure sales driven environment

 

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

 

Preferably have a relevant Construction Qualification.
