Description
Ensure sufficient sales activity, territory coverage and future prospect development to achieve individual set financial targets on a quarterly basis.
Work closely with marketing developing growth targets and appropriate activities. Track, monitor and measure marketing and promotional activities.
Understanding customer needs and creation of proposals, with the delivery of value to the customer central to the offering.
Nurture, develop and secure new business to achieve the annual forecast.
Take the lead in ensuring regular scheduled meetings with existing customers to review relationship and secure long-standing business.
Responsible for the profitability and expenditure of activities in line with the company objectives.
Visiting sites to collect water samples and understand the customers potential needs.
Attend trade shows and/or industry conferences to network and promote the business.
Keeping field service management informed of the sales pipeline and performance of your territory.
Maintain good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.
To work collaboratively with internal resources/departments to meet the needs of the customer.
Managing, training and supporting all Veolia employees and third party representatives that may or may not report directly to the ASM to ensure their maximum success in-line with company guidelines and best practices.
Weekly maintenance and update of current database of clients, prospects, within VWT CRM system.
Profile
A Science, Technical or Business degree or similar or qualified by experience. Proven track history in a field based sales within within the scientific or healthcare market is desirable. You will possess the drive and enthusiasm necessary to deliver business growth targets, a results oriented individual. You will have excellent influencing, communication and strong negotiation skills and be able to make an immediate impact. An ability to demonstrate appropriate business acumen and commercial awareness. A collaborative and consultative approach to prospecting opportunities, working with internal colleagues to maximise opportunities and knowledge. Demonstrable experience of having built strong working relationships both internally and externally. An adaptable attitude with technical competence and excellent problem solving skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Gmail, Google Drive and experience of using CRM software.
