THE ROLE: As an Area Sales Manager in the North West of England, your time will be focused on both managing existing business relationships with national and regional House-builder companies, Specialist Door Distributors, and Installation/Contractors. You'll have responsibility for maintenance and growth of a large budget, amongst the largest in the UK for this company.
THE PERSON: Working in an industry where relationships are essential, it is vital that you are a great rapport builder and have the hunger and dynamism to search for new contacts rather than reply purely on what is there at present. What you have sold previously isn't important, however selling tangible products, with a proven track record of success and longevity will be of interest. You'll have a good sense of humour and work well as part of a sociable team.
THE COMPANY: This organisation works closely with their customer base and are a leading European manufacturer of Domestic Garage Doors. They have excellent customer and staff retention, and this is a crucial component of their ongoing success.
