Area Sales Manager – Property/ Letting Agents Contract Furniture

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers

Industry Sector: Property Industry, Contract Furniture, Interior Design, Refurbishment Accommodation, Next Day Delivery Services, Buy to Let, Letting Agents, Property Managers, Residential Developers and Dress to Sell Rental Services

Area to be covered: North – based near M62 ideally

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 + £15,000 Commission

Benefits: Car Allowance & Benefits Package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers will involve:

·        Field sales role promoting furnishing and interior design solutions for the property industry

·        Building up a network of agents and property management partnerships

·        Offering next day delivery services, replenishment and dress to sell rental services

·        Covering the North focussed on buy to let and residential developers,

·        Helping partners maximise returns, increase occupancy levels and length of tenancies

·        Souring new business relationships and onboarding them as well as increasing penetration rate with the agents that have already been onboarded

·        70-80% of your time selling into property managers and letting agents

·        20-30% targeting small boutique developers/ housebuilders

·        80% new business development position, 20% account management

·        Vacancy has come about through our client’s desire to grow this vertical market

·        Majority of your time will be spent in the Manchester area and other major conurbations in the North

·        Typical order vales around £500-£600

·        Huge opportunity, equivalent field sales person in London is achieving £2m+

·        Targeted to achieve £500,000-£600,000 in year one

The ideal applicant will be an Area sales Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers with:

·        Must have 1 years+ selling into property managers/ letting agents

·        Network or understanding of sales and letting agencies/ property managers ideally in the Birmingham area

·        Experience selling into small boutique housebuilders may be advantageous

·        Fire in the belly/ ability to open doors and “make things happen”

·        Ideally with contract furniture field sales experience

·        May also be open to A&D interior design led products such as fabrics, flooring, wall coverings etc. if coupled with relevant route to market experience with housing associations, care and senior living providers

·        Preferably with an understand of design and design schemes

·        Trustworthy, able to work autonomously
